Dear Marengo Academy Alumni,
 
            The Marengo Academy Booster Club is a proud supporter of all Marengo Academy Athletics.   Marengo has a rich history of winners in many sports. This fall during our Homecoming 2007 festivities, we would like to recognize all members of the seven State Championship football teams, their coaches and cheerleaders. We would like to congratulate and recognize everyone that paved the road for current members of these teams to show the dedication to excellence that is an expectation of wearing the “Longhorn” uniform.
 
            This year the Varsity Cheerleading Squad won the State Championship and is in the process of cheering the Football team into the Playoffs for the second year in a row.   Football is an integral part of Marengo Academy that has defined many young boys into successful men on and off of the field.
 
            Homecoming festivities will begin on Thursday night, October 4th  with our traditional Roundup activities at MA High School followed by a Pep Rally, Parade of Homecoming Court and Bon Fire. On Friday, October 5th , starting at 6:00 pm,  we will support the Longhorns with tailgating at Linden Athletic field, followed by the opening kickoff at 7:00 pm. At halftime, the Homecoming Court will be presented. Following the crowning of the Homecoming Queen, Marengo Academy would like to recognize State Championship football players, cheerleaders and coaches. Immediately following the game, the annual Homecoming Dance will be held in the gymnasium for current students and guests.  On Saturday, October 6th, beginning at 8:00 P.M., the Booster Club will sponsor a dance for all alumni and friends of Marengo Academy at the Linden Country Club. Admission will be $10.00 per person. 
 
Please join us in our celebration of past and current excellence as a “Longhorn”, socialize with old friends and help cheer MA to another Homecoming victory. Visit the Booster Club stand and support our Longhorns by purchasing a family membership. Visit the Marengo Academy Website and register as an alumni at www.marengoacademy.org.
